Picture of Jaguar XJSThe first Jaguar XJS Coupe appeared in 1975 as a model 1976. Power came from the Jaguar V-12 petrol manual or optional automatic transmission, but the hand was quickly canceled. V-12 cars in those days was unusual, with notable others coming from Italian luxury sports car Lamborghini and Ferrari. In response to the criticism, Jaguar XJS is not worthy E-type successor, Pininfarina revealed a sporty show car in Year 1978 based on Jaguar XJS mechanicals and called Jaguar XJSpider. The car never went into production.
