Picture of Force India VJM03The team Force India today unveiled its car for the 2010 season of Formula 1, it's Force India VJM03. While assured that thanks to the stability achieved during last year's championship and the entry of new teams, their chances this season look more attractive .

The team, owned by Indian businessman Vijay Mallya, finished second last among the manufacturers last year, but improved significantly in the last part of the campaign.

"It was much calmer," said design director Mark Smith at the launch that took place through the website of the team.

"We designed the Force India VJM03 knowing the engine and transmission would use in 2010, which gave us a significant advantage over what we did at the same time design for the Force India VJM02" he added.

The back of the pattern changed somewhat owing to Force India VJM03 had more time to develop a double diffuser, after which in 2009 had to submit their model quickly after the early legalization of same by the authorities. In addition, the team says it will develop an adjustable front wing this year.
